Studium an der Merz Akademie Stuttgart und der Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart.
Meine künstlerische Arbeit befasst sich mit der Abstraktion von Fotografie und digitalen Kompositionen. Ausgangspunkt sind analoges Filmmaterial, digitale Fotografien und Found Footage Material. Besonders faszinieren mich Zersetzungsprozesse – sowohl analog als auch digital. Dabei beschäftige ich mich intensiv mit Orten und ihrer visuellen Repräsentation. Indem ich das Ausgangsmaterial dekonstruiere, mache ich dessen Ursprünge sichtbar und bilde Orte in einem Zustand der Auflösung ab. Gleichzeitig lasse ich durch den Einsatz von künstlicher Intelligenz und Videoformaten neue Welten entstehen. Diese Szenarien bewegen sich im Spannungsfeld zwischen Science-Fiction und Realität. Künstliche Intelligenz, ihre Möglichkeiten und ihr Einfluss auf unsere Gesellschaft stehen im Zentrum dieser Arbeiten.
I studied at the Merz Akademie Stuttgart and the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart.My artistic practice centers on the abstraction of photography and digital compositions. I work with analog film, digital photography, and found footage as my starting points. I am particularly drawn to processes of decay—both analog and digital—as a means of transformation.A recurring theme in my work is the exploration of place and its visual representation. Through the deconstruction of image material, I trace its origins and depict spaces in a state of disintegration. At the same time, I use artificial intelligence and moving images to generate new, speculative worlds. These scenarios unfold between science fiction and reality, navigating the boundaries of what is known and what is imagined.Artificial intelligence—its potential and its impact on our society—is at the heart of this ongoing investigation.
